what is untrue about the statement kapil dev said it as well as many former past players .these big teams see the wi now as a tourist destination bring their wives and kids see the sights and beaches during test matches not serious cricket competition .

Again you missed my point. It is disrespectful to say that we are a warmup team as we are better than that. I firmly believe that with the two Josephs we would have on all three series.

people will talk their talk. We have to perform to shut them up. Getting vex on a message board does nothing. And we cannot complain about not having the 2 Josephs when they lost 2 bowlers during the match itself.

They lost one bowler mainly due to our time spent at the crease. This has nothing to do with me but I hope the players are considering this when they take the field. Use it as motivation that is all I am saying.

The romantics want a strong West Indies. Like the romantics want a Brazil team that plays like Socrates, Zico and co. The board rooms don’t want that. Especially not the boards of teams we pummeled into submission. Why yuh think nobody used to complain when Brian Lara, at one point the only dude keeping WI competitive was getting tief out in England and Australia. Because the late 90s and 2000s was payback time for the humiliations of the 1980s
