Caribbean Jesus come to lead west indians to Zion. at this point, sammy could turn water into wine or 27 into 457 for those dudes. the thing is, Jesus actually worked miracles and wasn't reliant on irrelevant extenuating factors like a flattened pitch and a bowling attack depleted by its most experienced quick. but as i said, those factors are irrelevant. when west indians realize that improvement comes from systemic change and not cosmetic, we'll reach somewhere

People tried to pin all of the blame for the 27 against Australia on Sammy, so it's only fair to give Sammy all the credit for the 457. I don't see things that way, but I am just following the logic of the 27 posse 😎

we blamed sammy based on several factors. one, that the west indies made 311 against the australians the last time they faced them in a d/n test, which was the highest score aus had conceded in a d/n test in australia up until that point. sammy's team in none of the 6 innings in that series crossed 300....even in the day. and the pitch at the gabba was more difficult than anything the wi prepared. ssecondly, the wi has only made two scores of over 300 in sammy's tenure, one when the game was already lost on a docile indian wicket where india piled on 518. the second when the pitch had flattened and nz had lost two of their key bowlers
