Turning up with a pillow under his arm was such an arrogant move. Made to look like a complete fool afterwards.
A decent bowler but a little bit like Mark Wood, who is better, Archer is indeed far from the superstar quick he is made out to be. Jofra Archer has 54 test wickets at an average of 32 and he averages just 9 with the bat - despite being proclaimed as a near all-round threat by the typically over-enthused English media.
Approaching 31 years of age, he has managed to play 17 test matches. Hardly the stuff of legends.

On point....hypothetically if he was available for Windies i wouldn't select him in front of Jayden or Shamar if both were fit even with all the pace many are obsessed with...Archer is at his best with the new ball in his 1st spell an may pick up wicket or two ...3 5fers in 54 test tells the story....maybe he needs to be up against Windies to raise his game yuh know how it us when one of our strays gets loose on us😁....Root messed up Archer in the earlies by bowling him into the ground when he was captain!!
