You guys need to Get Real, with regards to this thing.
No West Indian Yuppie is gonna walk away from the position of boss of CWI; regardless of what else he has going on the side.
CWI bosses get the best seats at the venues, they eat good food, drink expensive liquor, stay in posh hotels, HobNob with other ICC bigshots, etc..
Alyuh want that fella to walk away from that…! Seriously..

Nelson Mandela is one of the greatest Black Leaders of my time and reason why he is so revered is because he displayed those characteristics in spades.
To stretch that far ---as to even mention them in the same breath lends some serious depth to your post.
THAT Mandela Bench mark is far too high a stool for ShalLOW I fear.

There has always been the unwritten rule of GOVERNMENT in the AFFAIRS of WEST INDIES CRICKET.
Politicians of course all have a vested interest in what we all love but the LINE should always remain unblurred.
I stand on the podium that says, since DJT has been getting away with every blinking law breaking and poor taste move...
people who consider themselves leaders of all types believe it is a green light to do as they please - To hell with GOOD GOVERNANCE.
Sure..you can drive without a seatbelt and you can ignore the law...

I have given up on trying to talk about good governance with respect to CWI and to be truthful.it was idiotic on my part to even begin engaging people on this board.The sad reality is that many here do not understand or indeed care about good governance in their own countries much less cricket.
I can think of only 1 territory in the region where the governance is in any way reasonable.Most of the region is mired in thieving politicians, lining their own and their friends pockets with kick backs and bribes.The concept of ethics, honesty and the public good are seen as lofty and unnecessary and the excuse is always, look at Trump. To top it off, incompetence is rampant with people being promoted above their level of ability.Ignorance is only superseded by arrogance and the beat goes on.
