DaSilva would replace Imlach

And Powell replace chase in an alternate universe.

Powell's selection would mirror that of King, Hope and Campbell, positive batsmen who can counter attack and move the game along.

Imagine Powell coming in at 7 with a platform and facing a weary attack.

@DIEHARD

In fact... Chase came in at the cost of Sinclair.....who in his very short career.... against very tough opponents..... conditions...did very well..... Australia - Pakistan..away...

Sinclair for Chase...

Better with bat..

Better with ball..

@Onionman0

Kevin Sinclair is not an international cricketer. He cannot bat or bowl. While I don't consider Chase a great

cricketer, he is a better batsman, bowler and fielder than Sinclair.

Get real dude.

DaSilva cyah even get called to a WI practice squad or A team. His West Indies career is over once this administration is in charge.

Deal with that reality and move on.

Its possible that he has been watching a different Sinclair than the rest of us. I guess it matters little when you have a region of average players. The ones not in the starting 11 are always the better option.

@imusic

Ever since he did the interview for the captaincy role he has been sidelined.

Whatever the vision he portrayed a the time clearly was out of line with what his bosses wanted.

My suspicions are that at the time Sammy was claiming in some words that Bazball was the way forward and I doubt seeing Josh's captaincy for T and T and when in charge of the B team that he would be a lover of that style.

He would be proved right.

@DIEHARD

Does Powell want to play Test Cricket? Has he ever indicated this?

Thu, Dec 11, '25 at 6:34 PM

@voiceofreason

I don't know. I don't know him personally.

But I think he'd be more beneficial to this team than Chase.

He or Rutherford

I stand corrected. Seems an explanation regarding why Joshua Da Silva has been dropped was provided

HIS “STANDING” IN THE TEAM WASN’T APPARENTLY GOOD ENOUGH

According to Director of cricket Miles Bascombe anyway.

I wonder what Warrican’s “standing in the team” is seeing that he’s vice captain and can’t even make the starting XI on a wicket more partial to spinners than seam bowling?

Doh talk fuh Chase and Imlach’s respective “standings”

Things that make you go hmmm
