This was always puzzling ... why when Imlach was selected no one questioned ... but why is he automatic pick over Jangoo in tests?

It's amazing the nonsense that some of you post here.

I call rubbish on this statement.

Murray was the better keeper and a very capable batsmen.

Dujon was a backup keeper and a capable enough batsman

that he made the team as a batsman, with Murray keeping his place.

Unfortunately Murray got hurt (in a test) and Dujon , who in as a batsman took the gloves.

Murray never got back the gloves because he went to RSA on the 'Rebel Tour'.

So please get your facts straight, before posting nonsense.

I opine that Dujon would have continued as a batsman, with Murray keeping.

So thgis argument is moot, if you are going to use Dujon's situation.
