Behind the stumps like Dujon..
Put Jangoo
@jamcricket
@jamcricket
This was always puzzling ... why when Imlach was selected no one questioned ... but why is he automatic pick over Jangoo in tests?
@kangalang
Better keeper but David Murray was better than Jeffrey Dujon and looked what happened

It's amazing the nonsense that some of you post here.
I call rubbish on this statement.
Murray was the better keeper and a very capable batsmen.
Dujon was a backup keeper and a capable enough batsman
that he made the team as a batsman, with Murray keeping his place.
Unfortunately Murray got hurt (in a test) and Dujon , who in as a batsman took the gloves.
Murray never got back the gloves because he went to RSA on the 'Rebel Tour'.
So please get your facts straight, before posting nonsense.
I opine that Dujon would have continued as a batsman, with Murray keeping.
So this argument is moot, if you are going to use Dujon's situation.
@TanteMerle david murray was on drugs when he played for the wi and his erratic behaviour that is what really ended his cricketing career.went on to be a full drug addict after the rebel tour.
@velo
Murray's test career ended because of the rebel tour.
He was part of the test team, and it ended in an injury.
He went on the rebel Tour before the next test series.
Dujon was in the team as a batsman.
My point is that jamcricket's reference is not applicable.
Dujon succeeded Murray because of an injury and Murray left period.
TRhis has nothing to do with today's issues.
Extremely poos reference to draw.
I do not have any issues with recommending that Jangoo play,
just bringing in references to Dujon/Murray situation is far-reaching,
Getting back to topic. Jangoo should at least be in the mix with Athanaze and Hodge and King for a middle order position. He is certainly no worse than any of them and the selectors seem to have lost Silva's number. I still back Imlach to come good with the bat.
@TanteMerle
Don't bother rewrite history on here. Dujon made that tour to Australia by putting some licks on a potent Bajan shell shield ...Garner, Sylvester Clarke, Wayne Daniel.
He was on tour as a batsman debut @ #6 and make some decent score in the 40's. David Murray got injured, Dujon took the gloves, impressed behind the stumps enough for Murray to see he wasn't gonna get them back in so off he went unto that rebel tour.
@jamcricket
Joker,
David Murray never got dropped.
He was injured and went Rebel Tour before next test appointments/tours.
It was quite clear to al that Murray was the keeper and Dujon was in the team as a batsman.
Stop obfuscating.
@TanteMerle
So get Jangoo in and have Imlach get injured...😀...Muddies getting side strains of late.
Just drop Chase and start the youth movement from now. Jangoo in at 3, Hodge moved to 5 and help out with the bowling. Chase is way past is shelve life.
Chase last 10 innings have totaled 163 runs. Why is he there? Why have Reifer not been sent home?
A bunch of soft fools running this thing.
@TanteMerle
Got hurt? Didn't he abandon the Oz tour in the middle of the series to join the "rebel tour?" Based on the trajectory and team balance it is obvious that he would've eventually lose his place to Duj as that allowed for6batsmen a keeper bat and the 4prong. Duj's first 3 test scores was the writing on the wall. How many teams pick 7 batsmen and a keeper pray tell?
@PalsofMine
@Tantemerle
don't know if after keeping 3 would be the best spot so let Hodge work out his kinks at 3 and Jangoo 5.
Tante I posit that Murray would've lost his place because Richie Rich wouldn't lose his once returned to the side. Big Cat was sweet on Logie so with Gomes and Viv in the side and Duj not getting dropped rebel tour or not Murray wouldn't have lasted in that team.
