Tagenarine Chanderpaul remains unavailable due to injury. Ojay Shields is also out injured, Alick Athanaze comes back into the side in what appears to be the only change for the visitors. The conditions are likely to favour the slow bowlers more so in this test match than the previous two, seamer friendly surfaces. As such, Windies skipper Roston Chase has stated that he will bowl more. However, there appears to be no place for vice captain Jomel Warrican, with Athanaze coming in for Shields as the only change - West Indies have already named their XI, which barring any unforeseen late change, will read as follows:
West Indies
Campbell, King, Hodge, Hope, Athanaze, Greaves, Chase (c), Imlach (w), Roach, Phillip, Seales
New Zealand have keeper-batsman Tom Blundell fit again, so he returns to the home side's XI. The Kiwis will make a late decision whether to go with Glenn Phillips or Michael Bracewell in the spin bowling all-rounder position.
