After studying the stats Imlach needs to go!

Stats don't lie.

Campbell 27 tests: avg 25.31

King 5 tests: avg 20.20 ( he is suited for 20/20 )

Hodge 12 tests: avg 24.62

Hope 45 test: avg 27.14

Athanaze 16 tests: Avg 23.67

Chase 56 tests: Avg:24.79

Greaves 13 test: avg 30.40 (that 202 NO against a depleted NZ attack helped him a lot just like Tage 200 against Zimb..but we are not counting Tage 200 against Zimb)

Imlach 5 tests. Avg 12.7 (Imlach bats at 7 or cool

Yet Imlach is expected to perform better than your top 7 batsman.

Stats duh lie

@WI_cricfan

The man is the wicketkeeper . Them others just there to bat. A sense sarcasm.

The man is a passenger

I say give him rope to hang himself

It is clear rhat he is simply not up to test cricket

Right now he should bat after Roach and Seales

We cannot have a man coming it at 7 who cannot make 10 runs on a batting friendly surface

@pariaman

But we okay with one at 5....

@WI_cricfan

This must be a joke thread. So the batsmen average 25+ so Imlach is giving a pass as he averages12.70 batting at 7? No Josh Da Silva fan but how much he averaged batting at 7 in a similar if not worse lineup?

In additions you are trying to degrade Greaves' 200* as we compiled 457/6 a record against a depleted attack but how much did Imlach score against that same depleted attack? Tage? What an idiotic thread, joined by that other idiot Nuttyforever.

Add to that he is dropping catches too:

Phillip to Latham, no run
Very thick edge and dropped by the keeper, hit the webbing as he leaned out to his left, opportunity gone begging....shorter and floating outside off with some sideways movement, went fishing at it
