Going with the extra batsman was understandable given that the top order is SO weak. However, doing so when Roach at this advanced stage of his career & Seales who has not stopped playing cricket for forever, or so it seems, are the spearhead of the attack was extremely risky given that once again, the test matches are squeezed together to fit into the cricket calendar.

These back-to-back tests are great fun for those watching but for fast bowlers, can be rather unforgiving.
