Sacking King was the Inspiration he needed.

While sitting on the bench, he had an epiphany.

The possible end to his cricketing career flashed before his eyes. His callback, sparked a determination, and a want, to be part of the test team.

this bodes well for him and the team.

Now, We are watching Brendon King. 2.0

@Edrich

Sometimes you need a wake up call. Hopefully he cashes in with a big inning. I have time for him as a test batsman.

Pure BS, he deserved a longer run in different conditions. 4 ducks tells a coach and public less than 4 20 sintging scores. The 70 plus what the Oz Commies were saying at the start of his 1st innings should've factored more in decision on his place than the 5 low scores. Hope the bench-warming wakes up Atha and Hodge too. CWI wasted 6yrs that could've made a good BRANDON King career. Now, we'll be lucky to get a good 5yr career out of him.GivevSammybcredit for that "try"
