I think moving Impach up to 4 hleped his case. Cause he's no longer requoired to say come in and be the last recognixed batsman. To me that was too much pressure on him and he played the best he's played on tour so far.

Imlach only scored 27, after keeping wicket for 150 overs, while Athanaze, who did much less in the field, waited on the older ball. It was unfair to make Imlach face a ball that was only 35 overs old.
Athanaze is a specialist batsman, and should have been doing his job. In the absence of Hope, Athanaze should have taken on the batting responsibility, and come in at four.
Let Imlach bat where wicketkeepers normally bat in Test cricket.
Instead, Imlach was sacrificed to protect Athanaze. Who made that decision?
