Inspirational???....nah very stupid in my book...yuh best batsmen is unwell yuh trying to save a test match so send yuh best batsmen in their correct designated order ....got no problem with thinking outside the box at times but promoting Imlach in this situation was plainly stupid over-thinking....an as captain if Chase has lost confidence an demoting heself he should jump before being pushed!!!

rubbish decision chase has forgotten how to bat and now he hiding from the ball. as captain he should have taken that responsibility to come in at 4 and spent some time at the crease to get back on form on a flatter pitch ,not send imlach who really looks out of sorts and just spent hours behind the stumps keeping

Whoever decision it was to send in Imlach, it was a good one

Chase batting just before the tail was even better
