Bazzball has been buried
One thing that this form of cricket guarantees is an early finish. England managed to lose the Ashes series in just 11 days of cricket!
The arrogance of the English cricket system is brought under a shining light, exposed for all to see.
Australia are a very good team, with one of the best bowling attacks in the history of the game - and they did this without the services of Josh Hazlewood, one of their stars. England were ruthlessly exploited and Australia drove home the point that there is only one way to play cricket at the top level and that remains, as it always has and will, by tough, gritty application and focus.
@Chrissy
Yeah, the English media hype up this strategy that will not work against good teams.
Bazball was always only meant to be a spectacle that would be successful against weak opposition on a flat pitch. The English tried it against stronger opposition and paid the price. I wonder if they will accept the moniker of collapso cricket that they happily applied to us when we invented the whole ruthless batting concept which it took them 50 years to copy??
