@mikesiva

I know it's early time and we can't make a judgement yet,but many are starting to put Morocco,Egypt and Algeria to produce the African Champions.I have to admit that i feel it is quite possible,I will not go with that judgement because the strong,physical ,speedy Africans,not Algerians,Moroccons or Egyptians won't cope with them,somewhere along they will be beaten..It has happened before and can happen again.I am sorry to say that the Congo will win this Afro ChampionshipI said sorry because they will beat Jamaica in the playofff.,Sorry Yard I was hoping to see you in WC 26,there's hope don;t give up I could be wrong,.

@granite

Senegal looks very good!

Jackson

Mane

Sarr

But yes, Congo are playing at a level well above Jamaica now. Wan Bissaka is a top player.

@mikesiva

I am aware of those players you pointed out,it might be scary for us as fans,but i am sticking to my guns,I feel to have a bet,if i can get 5 to 1 i'll have a go on the Congo.😆

@granite

South Africa a very much improved side from just a few years ago,they had chances to beat Egypt but didn't take them,I would put them high on the list.

I think the decision to not give the penalty was the right one against Egypt.

Sat, Dec 27, '25 at 2:15 PM

@granite

Soft penalty IMHO

Egypt 1-0 South Africa

Morocco 1-1 Mali

Angola 1-1 Zimbabwe

Zambia 0-0 Comoros

@mikesiva

I wanted to think it was "soft" but players get punished with those types of hands going to face,at the same time,it is described as dangerous play,but still they really should have won,I look forward to seeing them again.

I am sticking with The Republic of Congo for the African Champs.
