J.Greaves 283 runs @ 56 - mammoth innings in 2nd test (202*) propels him to the top of the list
S.Hope 255 runs @ 42 - excellent 1st test with century & fifty, 3rd test ruined by illness. Needs to be decisive against short ball, otherwise sound
B.King 185 runs @ 46 - missed 1st test then recorded a pair of fifties after a pair of starts to finish the series well. More to come going forward
K.Hodge 158 runs @ 52 - excellent knock in the final test after missing the first game, came back well with a valiant effort
J.Campbell 135 runs @ 22 - got a couple of starts but failed to kick on. Shocking brain fade led to the collapse in the final innings of the tour
T.Imlach 81 runs @ 16 - needs to do more with the bat but excels as a keeper
K.Roach 77 runs @ 25 - gritty fifty in the opening test, welcome return from the veteran
T.Chanderpaul 58 runs @ 29 - missing through injury for 2 matches after promising half century in the opener
A.Athanaze 56 runs @ 14 - poor returns once again with only a solitary start across four innings. For the much lauded batsman, needs to really step it up at test level
R.Chase 42 runs @ 7 - abysmal performance with the bat by the captain, to go with an equally poor showing with the ball. Should be nowhere near the test team
A.Phillip 32 runs @ 8 - stuck around when needed at times
J.Seales 17 runs @ 4
O.Shields 9 runs @ 3
J.Layne 0 runs
Overall, grade C, the biggest issue by far a patent lack of runs from the captain. The batting as a group managed to put up a pair of plus 400 scores, obviously reason for comfort but the repeated collapses (totals of below 170 in each test) remains of major concern.
