Hengland return home an the recriminations start esp if they suffer another ashes whitewash....Archer too injury prone an they will say they not getting enough mileage out of him for the contract he was awarded hence we may well lose his test contract which financially would hurt but prolong his "white ball"career!!

With Wood's career probably over now, if Archer is to prolong his test career then they he can't play every test.

Archer, Atkinson and Tongue with Stokes to back them up, would be my first choice England pace attack going forward when they're all fit.

seems like a reasonable attack but as we know for obvious reasons Hengland expect so much more from Archer....Stokes had heated words with him in the last test an any time his pace drops they're on his case....lest not forget Root bowled him into the ground when he was captain which was the start of his injury woes!!
