CA hemorrhages 10 million for 2-day test

Cricket Australia needs to tell the MCG to prep a proper wicket and tell Australia to learn how to bat. Any time they’re confronted by a challenging wicket, they fold

@Jumpstart

could imagine how ICC would come down like a ton of bricks on Windies if such a pitch was produced in the caribbean cause at times it was bordering on dangerous....let's see if they flex their muscles pon the Aussies!!

ICC can't sanction them for the pitch, it was not unsafe, what would ,or happened in those matches were none of the teams were bowled out in the game? was bad for business but not illegal.

Well, after experiencing the first three Tests, it was surprising to see that steps were not taken to avoid having the quick results Test matches. One would expect that the cricket Board would have calculated that much money was being lost. Even the grass on the field was too high.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of people!

😂

Mammoth losses in Perth and Melbourne.

Curator takes the hit

@Kay

Got his formula wrong this time..He is a good curator who transformed the MCG just a few seasons ago from it being the most lowly of the Test pitches ...but this time he just left too much live grass on what

should be a 5-day pitch..

Very costly in many ways but hopefully correction will come to the fore for the future while the ACB tots up its huge losses 😃
