@velo

This idiot the "ambassador" has no clue what he is talking about?

He claims the Brits left the Indians in Charge after they left? So is that why Eric Williams is Indian?His party has been in power for over 50 years of 63 years since independence.

When the africans black power marched , he sent his African Police force after their rasses.

He gave the Syrian /Lebanese opportunities not afforded the Africans, today they control the economy.

His Party strongholds were in African dominated regions and he kept them at the poverty level to control.Now think Eric said this : "I can put a frog to represent them and they would vote for it." They thought he loved them.

Eric brought Grenadians and they located in La Brea. Today, Africans live in certain areas as they did in the 1960's without services.

Manning never left any African in Charge when he left the country...he had a white man in charge.He really trusted the Africans.

Then came Rowley in ten years how did he improve Beetham gardens, Sea Lots , Belmont, Laventille, La Brea; the Africans live in poverty.If the ZOSO legislation is passed in the Senate, these Zones would apply to what are called “hotspots”—ie, high-crime areas. That term came into use as a policing strategy when the late Patrick Manning was prime minister, and the designated areas did not change under the Keith Rowley regime. Yet the PNM politicians and their trolls never had any concerns about racism back then. Now, however, Diego Martin North/East MP Colm Imbert, in a post on X last week, wrote that ZOSO is a type of legislation “people believe will create apartheid-like segregation”.

Mr Imbert’s use of the term “apartheid” is designed to arouse racial fears among the minority foolish enough to be swayed by such rhetoric. But stop pretending the PNM’s relationship with its most loyal communities is healthy. It isn’t. It’s transactional, and the transaction has been lopsided for far too long.

No comment about the 5,000 murders under Rowley the majority being Young Africans.

Kamla's Government

“The Attorney General, John Jeremie is a proud black man, the Minister of Works, Jearlean John is a proud black woman, Minister of Defence Wayne Sturge is a proud black Man, Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro is a man of mixed African descent.”

The Chief of Defence Staff, the Commanding Officer of the Coast Guard, the Commanding Officer of the Air Guard, and the Commanding Officer of the Regiment are all of African descent.

The Police and Defence Force are over 75 % Africans.

Minister Sturge severely criticised the Opposition for playing the race card

The President of T&T is a Former PNM senator.

Khan: 90% of gangs are from African diaspora

 A 2013 study titled “No Time to Quit: Engaging Youth at Risk”, headed by late political scientist Professor Selwyn Ryan, noted that “young African males are a primary category at risk”.

PNM MPs must stop preaching race

@sgtdjones

It is that hatred that you have for black people that is the problem in Trinidad today. You come on here, and in all kinds of ways, sometimes blatant, sometimes by implication, you manifest it. While Dr Umar Johnson is wrong when he stated that the British left the Indians in charge of the blacks, he is not wrong when he describes the level of racism levelled against the blacks by folks like you. maybe, Dr. Umar wanted to say that the British brought in the Indians as competition against the blacks to ensure that the blacks could not make any demands on them. Dr Umar should explain that the Africans were enslaved and left with nothing after emancipation, while the competition brought in from India were paid and granted lands. Everybody had a head start after emancipation, except the one group who bled on the plantation for nothing.

I have always read your stories about the people of Laventille, Sealots, etc, and knew that it was black people you are angry with. You are angry that they do not vote for UNC. If they do, then UNC is sure to win every time, so you are angry with them. But the PNM, nor UNC or any political party owe any favours to anybody or any race.They are supposed to serve the country, in general.Has it ever occurred to you that these people are not voting for because they do not want anything from you? because your politics is transactional, you are unable to figure out that these people are not interested. Today, you have extended your run; you have now added Grenada. No amount of USA bombers, SOE's, ZOZO's are going to solve the Trinidad crime problem. The problems are internal, and this racists outlook that manifest itself through you, is at the root of it.

Dr. Umar is deliberately using misinformation, playing to his fans with claims he knows aren't based on fact but on sensationalism, as his audience requires.

All Trinidadians struggle under all regimes, whichever party is in power. Racist incidents here are rare. Politicians use race as a tool during elections, but there's no history of systemic racist oppression or major incidents. T&T has been politically stable since independence in 1962, with the only real exception being Abu Bakr's foolish and failed coup attempt in the 1990s. Election results get accepted as a matter of course.

If we're talking about who actually dominates the economy, everyone here knows that it's the Syrian diaspora. No other group competes at their level.

There have never been hints of an ethnic war here, and there never will be. This is not Dr. Umar's pristine USA, you see. The whole ethnic war foolishness is based on his reality, not in TnT's.

This is not grate meriKKKa where you have state-sponsored racism, where government forces can commit cold-blooded murder in public without repercussions. Our citizens don't operate with teh kind of political rabidness you see in the misfits merika and other third world shiteholes.

I would say that Dr. Umar needs to get his facts straight before spreading this kind of divisive nonsense but he does know the facts. He just chooses not to tell them because sensationalism is what his core audience demands. Facts be gone.
