In the heights of our test cricket attendance in our region packed out sardine in a tin crowds. If things was going sour or pear shaped on the field of play the mob would be shouting " Who De Rass Give That White Bwoy Dat Job?" All we done know this.

I do believe England would consider a talented black cricketer as captain of their test team.

Brian Lara was appointed captain of Warwickahire based on his cricketing abilities. Yes it was a business decision and Warwickshire is a county team but the administrators at Warwickshire do hold the same mindset as the administrators of the England test set up.

They are all of the same cloth.

Champ de abuse would be mild in comparison to what a black captain or even an ordinary black player has to go thru when representing Hengland irrespective of how successful they are ask Archer or Chris Jordan!!!

there would be an element of tokenism in that an it would tick all the boxes an look good on paper but the pressure to succeed would be immense an as always much more so for we the ppl who are darker than blue😀.....lived in Hengland for 40 years champ!

I see we are still DREAMING... all Wondians do is DAY DREAM about what this TEAM could've been.....

We would be better off planning and executing a realistic plan for the team going FORWARD rather than forking be in perpetual DREAMLAND whole freaking time...... sheesh!
