I am surprised it took so long for Hosein to be exposed. He is a decent bowler but nothing of the sorts he was hyped to be. Our top t20 bowlers were Narine, Badree, Bravo and Santokie. You could count on each one of them to deliver wickets.

not for West Indies especially in the first world cup. He was terrific in that first t20 world cup we won. I don't even mind a strike bowler being expensive as long as he take wickets. (correction he wasn't a part of the the world cup winning team but he was very good in the world cup he played in)

which tournament was Cotterrell significant in, the 2nd world cup? Edwards, Rampaul and Russell was more effective over their careers I thought.

Santokie wasn’t in the WT20 in 2012 homes, he was there for the Bangladesh World Cup in 2014. Sheldon Cotrell was more penetrative for WI teams at international tournaments than Santokie. Cotrell was just unfortunate to have brain dead holder as skipper

his economy is less than 7 and his SR is 14. He has better numbers than Cotterrell, However he only played 12 matches. He has the best strike rate in all West Indian bowlers. SR is probably the most important stat in t20 bowling

Wasnt Hosein recently a hero in the sub-continent. And hasnt he been ranked No. 1 internationally. The fact is that our bowling unit as a whole will not defend any total against any international side because collectively our bowling unit is rubbish. Congratulations, however, to the batsmen who for once provided a decent total. Another day, another cutarse.
