@Yamfoot
Hey, MichMac, that was a simple but true sell of the island. Two of my friends have married Grenadian women (one divorced after six years), both having visited and saying similar things about the territory. (I say 'territory' since one lady is actually from Carriacou.) A nice beach that in the photo; I wonder how you snapped it in broad daylight, sand all trampled, and yet... sans any beachgoers!
Those first two fruits look mouthwatering, but I wonder what they are. Seems the red one is sth related to Otaheite apple but it's more roundish whereas ours is more longish. Is the yellow one some strain of tangerine or other citrus? The last fruit pictured --said to be lemon-- looks more like what we call sour orange in Hanover.
And finally, being the old fart that I am, I'd be remiss if I were not to go here:
My Story of Moving to Grenada from Jamaica in 1997 (Before Google Was Born!)
Google gets more credit than it deserves. Mind you, Google has achieved much success, but how many search engines predated Google: Archie, Jeeves, AltaVista, WebCrawler...? Then there's also Yahoo, which is still around. In 1997 you would have been fine using any of these on your Mosaic or Netscape browser to query things Grenadian. (And you probably did!) 😎
Big up the Spice Isle!
