Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, SIX, that's a fifty off just 24 balls in the all important semifinal. Abdul Aziz could resist from trying the short ball at the body, Vaibhav rocked back to pull this easily over deep square leg. Not much of a celebration from Vaibhav. Just gave the thumbs up and gestured that he is here for the team today.

It's the short ball again that has got Vaibhav. Nooristani got this just outside off stump and asked Vaibhav to fetch the pull. What a domineering performance by India. They have made mincemeat of a record chase with absolute disdain. Many expected 311 to be very tough when the 2nd innings started but Sooryavanshi was belligerent in the powerplay. He was dropped and made Afghanistan pay a heavy price for that.
