Yesterday after the WI game I had a chat with somekne who's been around the game at varying level, before I born.
Something he pointed out to me was the fact that many of these associates games play way more t20 games, thanbthe full nations, they are more adept to playing this format. And I think there will be aome closer classes ans maybe an upset or two. Theres not sure win in this thing so far has day 2 shown us.
When WI loat to Nepal a few weeks back, most people laughed and was like look who WI couldn't beat. Now the same ppl are shocked at the showing Nepal showed to a full strength England squad. Yet laughter when an under strength WI team lost to the same Nepal.
Funny how life works. If we would be more analytical in our thinking we would realise that there has been a narrowing in the gap of full vs associate nations for years and this year the gap narrows even further.
