Lara was in a squad in England and never played even after Greenidge was injured(Lambert was called up from The Leagues) Cuddy was in England touring party but after Small's injury Davis was called up from his county. Lara said is plan was to pick Sammy so he could learn on tour , not play...nothing new.

yes i get that an maybe when touring like for a test series or a white ball series dats all good but this is major tournament an every member of the squad should be in a position to be utilised if called upon through injuries...an not just taken along fuh the fresh air especially for a mostly underperformed team!!
