For the Latinos who supported Trump...the biggest irony is that your old colonial masters in Spain can't understand very little Spanish spoken in any Latin American Country.

Of course each country will have their own version or slang.

Colombians and Mexicans speak slower so they are the easiest to understand...once the Mexicans aren't chatting their slang. Central Americans generally speak in a manner which can easily be understood by those who studied Spanish in high school.

Venezuelan women have a very sensual accent.. Dem know how to flirt

Ecuador and Peru have their distinct accents.

Argentinians speak Spanish with a heavy Italian accent.

Persons from Uruguay speak very similar to Spaniards.

Costa Ricans have their own phrases...and influenced by Jamaican patois along with some German and Anglo saxon words and names.

Interestingly Cubans from Havana speak very differently from the Cubans of Santiago.

Cubans of Santiago have an accent very similar to persons from Dominican Republic ( Can hardly understand them)

Puerto Ricans Speak Spanish... like Puerto Ricans.

it's where the spaniards came from that arrived in latin america or the influences of other languages caribbean spanish like puerto rico ,cuba dominican republic alot of the spaniards that ended up there came from southern spain and the canary islands .that is why their accent is so distinctive they don't pronounces s at the end of words some pronounce r like l and also the indigenous indian and afro words entered their vocubalary.

they are the hardest spanish accents as well as the southern spaniards to understand try listening to soanish from southern spain
