Correction- He played Bass until Tyrone Downie arrived and took over as Family-man Barrett was no where to be found. Beauty of Wailers is that many could play different instruments. Wia the keyboardist played guitar also.

Junior Marvin said the night he 1st met Bob he Bob and Tyrone jammed together with Tyrone on bass.

Like Peter, Family man played many instruments in studio recordings or while composing.
