Alternative opener

At this point I don't see Johnson Charles as an option. Maybe Sheperd!!! It is better than him facing 3 balls at the end. This is in case something goes awry with King.

@methodic

If Sheppy can miss the two fielders outside the circle, and connect, he can do serious damage in the power play.

But if the oppo open with spin?

@Halliwell

But if the oppo open with spin?

same for Charles

@methodic

If it’s a straight up choice, then Sheppy everytime

Charles is out of his depth at this stage in the evolution of T20i

@methodic

We are staying with King but if he is injured then, Motie or Forde.

Not sure wuh goin on with Shep ...is he fit or wuh?? cos surely he should have played against Italy...by time we play Zim he wouldn't have played fuh 2 weeks!!.....King not inspiring confidence at the moment..failed against Italy an a ugly swiping an missing inns against Nepal fuh 20 +....would be inclined to give him another chance but our PP hasn't been good enough so maybe Forde could be an option to open with Hope who is the anchor an we dnt need him taking undue risks to up the r/r if the other end not functioning so Hety could also be alternative!!

@CCW

We staying with King. Let us see what he can do in this match.

@voiceofreason

I leaning toward Shep for King. Extra bowler, and cannot do worse as King's form is off.

@natty_forever

King will get the first match or two in the big 8

Iif they have to experiment with an alternative opener, then this is the math to do so ...

Hetmyer, is the most likely choice, and Shepherd in for King
