1.1

Marco Jansen to Tilak Varma, out Caught by Quinton de Kock!! Has Tilak Varma been OUT caught behind? Was a very confident appeal and umpire Chris Gaffaney's finger went up straightaway - the batter isn'[t so sure though, he reviews and watches a spike on the outside edge on UltraEdge. The original call stays and India have lost two early.

Marco Jansen to Suryakumar Yadav, FOURnicely played, on a good length and slanting into the pads - Suryakumar Yadav lets the ball come, brings his wrists into play and then drives it into the gap wide of mid-wicket, races away across the fast outfield

Kagiso Rabada to Abhishek Sharma, FOUR, nicely played, was the attempted slower ball, but it turns out to be a wide full-toss and Abhishek slices the drive past cover-point -10 off the over

6

Kagiso Rabada to Abhishek Sharma, SIX, cheeky and six, this is so much better from Abhishek - back of a length and angling across the left-hander, Abhishek waits on it, opens the face of the bat and then uses Rabada's pace to ramp it over the keeper's head - short straight boundary and the ball sails over the ropes

4.3

Marco Jansen to Abhishek Sharma, out Caught by Corbin Bosch!! That's gone very high, but it hasn't got any distance under it - two men chase, it's Bosch and Maharaj - they almost collide, the ball almost fell off his grasp, but he manages to hold on and clutches onto his chest. India have been rattled, the crowd in Ahmedabad has been rattled as well. Was the knuckle ball and Abhishek didn't spot it - was through with the shot, the ball came off the inside half and lobbed very high in the air - Bosch ran to his right from mid-wicket, so did Maharaj back from mid-on - no one called, but Bosch eyes was fixed onto the ball and he held on with ease.

Abhishek Sharma c Corbin Bosch b Marco Jansen 15(12) [4s-2 6s-1]
