Root, Smith, Williamson and Kohli are now the senior statesmen. We are looking for the Fab Four of the young brigade and Brook has certainly pencilled his name in. I thought Labuschange would have been there as well but he has dropped off. Perhaps Mitchell from NZ is also there and maybe Gill from India and Mendis from SL.
@PalsofMine
they are all poor impressions of kohli, kane root and smith....well not smith because he's the ugliest batsman in history........but put them on a difficult wicket and they all struggle which the above four didn't. maybe its because kohli, kane root and smith are the last not to be burdened by a diet of t20 cricket
The rate you guys change tune, Harry Brook is the greatest until next week. Poor Bethel, he though heβd hold that trophy longer than thisβ¦
@allan
Batting is more than skill and ability.
Brook's 3rd test brain fade was what sealed the series for Oz. He could've along with root batted Oz out of the game and even won it. But no,bover confidence, lack of respect for good bowling...brain-fade yam-licking.
@Jumpstart
wouldn't mind having who yuh referring to as the ugliest batsmen in history (Smith) in our test team, numbers is the name of the game....Hoops was the most aesthetically pleasing Windies batsmen I've ever seen an should have been an all time great ...whilst Shiv was the most ungainly an ugly if yuh wanna call him dat but is an all time great... because of his numbers!!!
