It’ll come down to tv match against india and that will be a must win for both teams.

it’ll be very very tough for us to get past them

@brians_da_best

we have a better chance against india than against SA

Thu, Feb 26, '26 at 10:47 AM

WI target (or hope) is for Zim to at least get to 149

Thu, Feb 26, '26 at 10:55 AM

It's T20

On any given day, anyone can win

Thu, Feb 26, '26 at 10:56 AM

@brians_da_best

We are in a good position where we can determine our own destiny with a win vs India. India maybe the favorites but they carry the weight of expectation. West Indies can pull it off.

@Acid

What difference does that make? NRR will only come into play if the game vs India is rained out. Win the game and we have 4 pts, India 2. Simple.

@voiceofreason

dey aint take a wicket against zim as yet....by the end of the powerplay, we already had taken 3. they're a misfiring side. the weight of expectation is enormous

@Jumpstart

I don't see India winning this WC and overall they don't look like the India of past 20/20 WCs.

Thu, Feb 26, '26 at 11:22 AM

@Jumpstart

Yes this is a transition team with the Greats Rohit and Kohli no longer there. Bumrah can be a handful on his day.

Thu, Feb 26, '26 at 11:29 AM

India vs WI---- the WI players will protect their IPL contracts.

Thu, Feb 26, '26 at 11:34 AM

@WI_cricfan

They could enhance them with a big knock or big wicket haul.

Thu, Feb 26, '26 at 12:10 PM

@WI_cricfan

homes...................lendl simmons was a mumbai indians player and russell was with kkr when they emphatically booted india out of the tournament held in these parts.

Thu, Feb 26, '26 at 1:29 PM

West indies batters will not be able to handle bumrah and the india spinners . So all better start praying for a rain out Sunday at the game that is windies best chance of going to the semi finals .

@granite

they look very shaky. genuinely shocked by the inability to take a zim wicket in the powerplay, and they have a better bowling lineup than us and we took 3. weight of expectations and this side is new to this type of home tournament pressure
