@Seechy

The only reasonable change is Hosein for Chase

Chase is just not good enough to take advantage of left hand batters to offset the effectiveness of Hosein in the power play overs

Sherp assists the batting a lot so must play and while King is not good JC is far worst.

Disagree. India's lefties have struggled against offspin and Chase is the only offspinner in the team, so he should play.

Hosein should come back, but the toss up should be between Forde and Shamar - who will be more effective with the ball.

I agree he is the only off spinner but he is just not good enough

It is expecting too much of him

Our weakness is our bowling. It would be crazy to drop either Ford or Shamar. Ford and Hosein are the only bowlers who have been at least marginally effective in the powerplay. And Shamar is the only potential matchwinner. We cant let Shepherd's one off 5fer against England fool us. He is not a serious option for more than one over most matches. I am surprised we did not try Rutherford. Chase as an allrounder has been quite good with the ball but Chase not scoring runs so Chase as a specialist is not good enough. Either Chase or Shepherd has to sit.

And lets not entertain idea of dropping King. Expose our power hitters early to Bumrah and the new ball and all of a sudde the line up looks paper thin.

Unless we anticipate a turning wicket Chase will have to hold bench...otherwise it should be Shepherd.
