Some people talking rel shit here, Kamla 'story' was a court ruling, Mia is barking up the wrong tree here, her own people are blasting her for this all over the place, she should've kept her ass quiet but she couldn't leave Kamla with the last word, be advised Kamla has a way of slaying 'giants' and they all seem to descend into madness. They accepted liability and was arranging a settlement months already ffs ! Right now right thinking Bajan are blasting Mia for this shyte ! It was the old corrupt boy's in red club that facilitated this and Mia & Rowley were senior members, to name a few..
mia lays into kamla 'kidnapping story"
I am not a lawyer, but if the guy is wanted in TT and is brought back, he should be tried there on the on the charges he was wanted for. If he was kidnapped, that is a case that should be taken up before the courts in Bim?
@bravos
If liability was accepted that would suggest the case was settled why bring it back up again and at such place?
@bravos
this was a matter that was being settled
Bim more or less admitted liability
Kamla is the one who resurrected it
and before a Caricom heads of govt conference
why did she do so?
perhaps to stave off criticism and to detract from the assistance she gave to the USA in the so called capture of Maduro
now if that wasn’t kidnapping, what is?
@sudden
Some people have selective memories, Kamla can recall only errors, why did she not mention that during Covid when TnT closed borders stranding many of their citizens, Did not Mia open our doors to them and they were treated like the family they are, or when Mia shared our vaccines with Trinidad, these things she could not speak on, but she can speak on an alleged abduction, IMHO……..Barbados was dragged in the political shenanigans of Trinidad
@camos
The Attorney General of Barbados apologized. He is now seeking financial compensation, plus he wants answers about who ordered his arrest.
He was not wanted in T&T...that's BS.
@hawk
It has not been settled as yet.
Some people have selective memories
Check yours....
It was Rowley's government that made such a decision. Not Kamla.

Businessman and firearms dealer Brent Thomas is hoping that the “truth” will be shared about his detention and extradition after Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar’s criticism on Tuesday about the role that Caricom played in his arrest and extradition from Barbados to Trinidad and Tobago in October 2022.
When contacted yesterday, Thomas said, “I hope one day the persons responsible will be exposed and the truth shared in the public domain.”
Thomas had previously called for an investigation into the role played by former prime minister Dr. Keith Rowley’s administration.
Thomas wants ‘truth shared’ about his arrest, removal from Barbados
When you are clueless STFU...
the assistance she gave to the USA in the so called capture of Maduro
List the fucking assistance she gave or shut your fat girthed rass !!!!!
What can T&T give to the Americans other than the space to put a radar?
Some electricity and some land at Tobago's airport?
@sgtdjones
Reports indicate that the Barbados police was told he was wanted, I understand an arrest warrant was presented, I don,t know for sure like I said it appears we were dragged into Trinidad’s political shenanigans, besides liability was accepted and payment made, the matter is at rest.
also Kamla was not the PM when this occurred either, so why is she so focused on it and if she can talk about the “bad” that happened why not also speak on the good
@sudden
I’m not interested in your opinion of me, and Admin’s opinion isn’t relevant either. Neither of you has any real impact on my life.
And given your track record, acting like an authority on anyone else’s choices is… a bit much.
@hawk
She brought it up to show flaws in arresting CARICOM citizens without a CARICOM arresting warrant
A Caricom arrest warrant is under consideration by governments in light of the Brent Thomas affair.
The Rowley's government, to avoid embarrassment, was appealing the judge's verdict.
Kamla's AG has discontinued such a legal brief.
@sgtdjones
Sounds like a domestic matter for Trinidad to fix. TTPS should not have asked for the assistance of the BPS if they knew the man was not a wanted man.
seeking a caricom arrest warrant is fine I have no issues there, attempting to embarrass the people of Barbados and its government is where I draw the line
@hawk
Rowley's AG apologized to the Barbados Government for this fiasco.
This is why Thomas is pursuing this matter; he wants to know who is responsible. T&T is at fault.
Rowley's government tried to hide behind appealing in court.
How can such occur since both governments claim they are clueless?
Hoping for an inquiry in T&T...
