One major tactical error

no short balls (bouncers) to Sampson. Sampson has been dismissed a few times in recent times with short balls.

@methodic

We have a Sampson too maybe if we played him in in a dead rubber game we'd had him as an option today.

Surprised you haven’t blamed a trini yet.

Hosein and Rampaul did play a part. Seales in the squad. Thats usually more than enough for you.

@imusic

Rampaul had an excellent overall tournament. So too did Griffith.

I am fair regardless of nationality. If Narine was there we probably would have won the world cup.

I think Windies played good cricket. On that ground stretching INdia to 20th over was a major achievement. Lightning fast outfield. Ball hardly turned. India made a mess of it unable to handle pressure. SA would ahve chased down with ease. Batting was also okay. Once the surface not helping spinners WI attack looked handicapped. That is probably where WI was at a disadvantage.

Sanju gets out only when he tries to over hit. If he decides to bide his time he is a different batsman. That is what he did. He had a control % of 88%. It was a beautiful innings. Risk free.

We missed Alzari.

@voiceofreason

We missed Alzari.

Chupse !!!...Honey? He should not be playing T20 cricket. He does not have the temperament, the poise, nor the tactical nous to play the game.

Waste of time.
