The thing is when it comes to "rope"it varies from player to player. Shubman Gill was unfairly brought into the set up and they disrupted the opening combo That is where Sanju kinda lost his rhythm. Also Sanju plays high risk cricket even at the risk of being inconsistent. That is part and parcel of this team's mantra. So instead of embracing it they looked at his form in isolation. It is no different from what Abhishek is going through now. Just like they back Abhishek now they should have backed Sanju.
SAMSON won this match for India today
@jnaveen
privthi shaw was a walking wicket but was from maharastra. firstly a kartanaka or tamil nadu or kerala player wasn't getting picked that young. but back to privthi, he scored runs against a 3/4 dead WI attack and was immediately sent to australia where his technique was exposed in the cruelest way. as i said, a kartanaka or kerala player or tamil nadu player would have never gotten that opportunity. ravi ashwin, as another example, got dropped for the wtc final against australia and india were pummeled, a decision that sunil gavaskar said made no sense. look at mayyank arrgawal from Karnataka , average of 41 from 21 tests, 4 hundreds including two double tons. one bad series against sl and he was gone and still is out(he was only 31 when he was dropped).
@Cricket_101

I appreciate the sharing Jnaveen.
I long for the day that foolishness stops...perhaps he has softened some hearts and dutty minds.
I wont hold my breath as yes...The "separation" is pretty obvious by simple observation
