@Onionman0

These cowards who are coming out after the loss and exit of the team are the worst kind.

Should Sammy keep his job if WI continues to fail?

Mon, Mar 2, '26 at 7:34 AM

@ray

I knew it was just a matter of time before the real Ray came out.

5-2 in a WC and 4 balls a way from a World cup semis is not a failure. This is something to build upon as this team is a team that is being groomed to win in 2 years. We are ahead of schedule.

I am very happy where we are.

Sammy must and will stay!

@voiceofreason

My question is about if he continues to fail. I have West Indies cricket at heart...not Sammy. I have said before that I don't care for the amount of power that he has...

@voiceofreason

It's simply analysis based on facts accumulated since 2023...When dummy became white ball head coach.../.

Three ICC tournaments failure...

2027 ODI World Cup hang in balance with 1 point...

Sanath Jayasuriya resigned, inspite Sri Lanka already qualified for 2027 ODI....

You and Shallow... congratulating each other...while world laughing...

2027 ODI World Cup hang in balance with 1 point...

Next step auto ODI qualification.

Sanath Jayasuriya resigned, inspite Sri Lanka already qualified for 2027 ODI....

He resigned due to his team's dismal showing at home, losing to Zimbabwe, England, and Pakistan. They were knocked out even before their last Super 8 game, despite being in a favorable group of 2nd placed teams. West Indies were in with a chance up until ball 19.2 of the last innings of the last game.

A loss is a loss

Mon, Mar 2, '26 at 9:54 PM

We entered the tournament as the number two seed in our group, so expected to go on to the super 8 along with England, in the super eight we loss two of the three games we played. The loss to India had a lot of blunders. How can an honest person say we did well.

@ray

The team went 5-0 in comprehensive fashion before we lost to pre-tournament favourites South Africa and India. Was that expected before this WC when some were saying we would lose to Nepal and Scotland? Let me remind you that we have lost to both before.

Again I am not repeating myself, after this. if you do not consider that 5-2 success in a tough super 8 group which was pre-fixed before the WC then you are downright bias just like the others who are creeping out of the woodworks one by one.

You guys are biased just to see one man fail Sammy. You all need to get over it. Right now it is downright overbearing.

Sri Lanka beat Australia....but failed to qualify.....for semis..as host.....Sanath resigns.... although Sri Lanka already qualified for ODI W.C. .....last time 2023...both Sri Lanka and West Indies played qualification...

2024 W.C. ....West Indies failed to qualify for knockout stage as host....Sammy retained as coach... given more power as selector....

It's time for resignation of Dammy....New coach....new idea...

As for 19.4 overs.....

South Africa were about to be World Champion....19.1 overs....Millers was caught on the boundary by Surya.....But Walter, South Africa white ball coach changed...

But Sammy....despite failures in all front....gets kudos.... for making team competitive....

Even Zimbabwe bt Australia and SRI Lanka....
