Tell me something new please .....

Yes we did no better than last time but I think we played better generally. Our wins were emphatic and we only suffered one WI style cutarse, that was against SA. The match against India could have gone either way and someone had to win in the end. I am giving Sammy some kudos even though we could not get out of the Super 8s. I think that we could easily claim to have been the 5th or 6th best team in the world in that tournament and this is without Evin Lewis and Aljo, two of our more potent players.

@PalsofMine

Well said. Finally a rational and impartial summary.

@sgtdjones

I know but he was in contention for a pick. He retired after he was not picked. Hence the argument that we were without him. He was available until the squad was selected.

the campaign was a failure; we were seeded second in the group and predictable advanced to the round of eight. there we lost two of the three games, one of those losses was a total embarrassment. There was obvious lack of tactics.

Yes we did no better than last time

Are you referring to World Cup 2024 played in the Caribbean when you say last time?

If so, your quoted statement is based on what exactly?

@Kay

We don't have a team at moment to compete at the highest level... period. There are a few players that have the ability, but are constantly under pressure in which expedite their demise at crease.

Offensively we've Hope, Hetty, Rutherford and Holder; maybe Chase - all the rest are just numbers.

Defensively we've Hakeem, Motie and on good day Shamar... Am not sold Forde.

Maybe A Joseph and Seales would've made a difference.

Its amazing how consistently Rovman Powell and his contributions are overlooked and under appreciated by so called WI fans.
