@jnaveen

The minute Finn attacked them, SA fell to pieces. If that was the WI from 2012 or 2016, I’ll tell you how that nz innings would have played out. SA were in trouble and were rescued by a brilliant Jansen innings. We could equate that to Icon’s one man rescue act in the 2012 final. We all know how that motivated our bowlers, that sniff of a chance that Samuel’s provided. By the end of the first SL over, Dilahan, then possibly the second most destructive hitter in t20 cricket had his off stump dancing courtesy a vicious Ravi Rampaul outswinger. And the spinners choked SL out of the game. When SA is out under pressure, they collapse way too quickly. The test side is getting some spine but the white ball team still struggles in pressure moments

@PalsofMine

New Zealand for the win! England or India winning means they will have 3 WC titles to our 2.

I really though this thread was about WI..

But then again WI never peaked, (except for England in the league games) they played lower ranked team so they were expected to win

That 13th OVER was brutal... match done in record time as though the NRR was playing a part here.

This was like the RED WEDDING in GAME OF THRONES.

43 balls left

@powen001

If they were playing "beat bat out" NZ could have scored closer to 300

South Africa usually chokes in the big games. Nothing new

India is a piss poor team and batting second will compensate for all the piss poorness in your team.
