How can whoever runs cricket in Barbados allow world-class local talents such as Bethel and Archer to leave and play for a foreign country?

They don't even realise their role includes team recruitment and talent development.

Ole Brigand posse I guess.

We keep blaming Jam cricket, Bim cricket, TT and Guy cricket, when we all concede the CWI collective body (!!!) have no damn money…what hope is there, with the CURRENT expertise and current will, for a national board?

let’s not even talk about Olympics!

@Curtis

Che Simmons will be another. According to them, he is the new Jofra.

Shaquan Belle, the allrounder that took a 6fer in the U19 WC also went to school in the UK... won't be a surprise if he choose the motherland ahead of WI.

And I don't blame the youths.. take the opportunity. Why stick around WI or BIM cricket? Year after year Bim playing a bunch of fellas that don't have anywhere to go.

Imagine last super50 they picked Kraigg over Parris.

what talent development? neither bethell or archer would be as good as theu are if they had stuck around in barbados let's see how much of those under 19 barbados players end up playing for the wi or if they do they end up like shamar brooks or dwayne smith talented but very flawed
