Apparently the ICC chartered jets to fly the lickit losers home..the Pommies, Saffies and Windies

The Pommies were given a flight to London… The Windies were relegated to the back of the Saffie jet to Johannesburg …after which they would be flown to Antigua…

If you’ve ever done that Joburg flight its punishing…I did the 16 hour flight flight from Joburg to Atlanta Harshfield…it was not pretty…I slept and woke up 4 times and still had 10 hours remaining on the flight…

You mean to tell me that the ICC couldn’t allow the Windies to hitch a ride on the Pommies flight to London? My word that was adding injury to insult and shows the callous disregarded for the Dottie regime…shameful..but nothing less than they deserve…

@FanAttick

That is why we get that treatment as we continue to pull each other down instead of focusing our energies in a collective way at the real Villians here who is the ICC owned by the BCCI, and to a lesser extent ECB and ACA. Yes you are right if it is true they should not have had to fly all the way to Joburg to fly back to the Caribbean but who are the organisers of the tournament? Who arranged their flights in the first instant? Oh btw the South African teams had to suffer the same ignominy should we blame the SCA too?

Alyuh full of shite.

@FanAttick

The Pommies hired their own charter flight.

I understand that the ICC is supposed to reimburse them.

Don't blame Hingland for having the gumption to solve an issue.

I believe that sum of you add 2 plu 2 and get 22.

Everything is not always as it seems to the naked or biased eye.

@voiceofreason

The ICC reimbursing the Pommies…why didnt the failed CWI insist on getting reimbursed for their own charter flight?

Incompetent administration. Incompetent Coach…

@sgtdjones

Trini coach, does that may sense to you, based on the poster remark about pommies stepping up and providing a flight for their players why could the WI CEO done the same?

Wed, Mar 11, '26 at 12:10 PM

Didn't an IPL franchise fly Bravo home so he would arrive in time for WI duties and the criticism was man dem a pallaave na' play big shot?

How the world turns...

@tc1

Out of pocket?

Wed, Mar 11, '26 at 2:44 PM

@natty_forever

@FanAttick

Even Faloony the disingenuous should know the line of authority here and who is in charge of the daily financial operations of CWI.

You think this charter from London to St. Kitts? You a really living up to your name Faloony. The cost a charter from Delhi to Antigua would be over 1/4 million an I am being generous as depending on the type of plane that could be close to 1million. Also bare in mind that the middle east hubs are shut down or restricted right now so I am certain it would cost over 1 million. Dehring cannot find money to host a regional where will he find 1million up front fi plane?
