Repeat after me! Win Toss, Bat first…

in BIG matches, regardless of the history of the ground.

Too much pressure to be batting second!🤔

What ah mistake eh ?

Or win the toss, bowl first , but don't bowl utter crap

@StumpCam

That's easy to seh now...it all depends on yuh resources an wuh the ream is confident doing ..i would prefer Windies to chase cos batting is our strength.....look how NZ battered SA chasing....an Hengland almost beat India in the semis chasing a similar target ...so easy to be wise after the event...we can all do dat!!!!!

@CCW

Bro, I’m been saying that forever!

Almost, is not a win! More like desperation!

@StumpCam

Especially against India, as you know the dew will not be a factor. 😁

In the last month in the series against NZ, India chased 200 in 15 overs, 150 in 10 overs . Then they asked Santner how many runs you need to score against these guys. He said "300" lol Santner knew how fast they chased in that series.

Listen bro! I’m just reiterating my T20 belief. My philosophy will always be to bat first once it’s in my control!

@StumpCam

If you don't have 8 bankable overs that call is not that straight forward. India had Bumrah. So they defended at Wankhede. If you don't have one you can't do.

if you are a team batting first and can’t defend 250, you need to play a different sport my friend!

@StumpCam

Dude...the game is evolving whereby bat on batting friendly tracks is dominating ball ..par scores are increasing cos fuh the most part the batting has improved more than the bowling...would you be confident of Windies defending 250 on a great track against the likes of India,SA,NZ, Hengland an Aus?..not saying ALL on any given day would definitely achieve the 250 but reckon maybe 3 would esp in India with the dew factor and if yuh dnt have the likes of the great Bumrah to help defend it!!

@StumpCam

You are saying NZ would score 250 ? Most teams end up collapsing in order to set a massive total.

Mon, Mar 9, '26 at 10:51 AM

@CCW

Yes, once we hold our catches. Felt if we had India would have struggled to make 195. But nothing is a given in the game of "glorious uncertainties".
