T&T Wicketkeeper/batter Sawh 300 not out

Twenty-one-year-old Sawh’s historic innings comes just days before she links up with the West Indies squad for the upcoming One-Day International series against Australia in St. Kitts on March 27, 29, and April 2. The Caldrac Achievers wicketkeeper and batter etched her name in local cricket history with an extraordinary unbeaten 300 from just 142 balls against AC Women. Her innings, which included 52 fours and five sixes at a blistering strike rate of 211, made her the first triple centurion in local women’s cricket, while also setting a new record for the highest individual score in the format.

The landmark innings powered Caldrac Achievers to a mammoth 486 for two from their 40 overs—the highest team total ever recorded in local women’s 50-over cricket. The previous individual record was 190, scored by Britney Cooper for Phoenix Women against Hibiscus Ladies.

Sawh also rewrote the record books for the most fours in an innings with her tally of 52 boundaries. She received strong support from Samara Ramnath, who produced an aggressive 105 from 68 balls with 13 fours and a six for her first century at this level.Sawh, whose first century came in January 2025 against Technocrats, is scheduled to depart on March 24 to join the West Indies squad in St Kitts ahead of the ODI series.
