Kaieteur Sports – A battle-tested half-century from opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Junior Sinclair’s 5-fer and Anthony Adams’ 4 wickets headlined a mixed second day of action when the Guyana Harpy Eagles preparatory match continued yesterday at Everest.
Day 2 focused heavily on individual pre-season form as well as important performances in the match which could have huge implications today.
Nandu XI eventually folded for 146 in their 1st innings despite putting in some work during the final session of day 1 to reach 51-1 from 27 overs.
Chanderpaul, who resumed his innings on 30, went onto score an ultra-gritty 64 off a whopping 239 balls with just 5 fours; demonstrating focus and application but was unfortunately denied a bigger score despite his efforts.
