Pollard leads Fatima past Hillview
Premiership North 2 winners Fatima College were among the winners yesterday, in round two of the PowerGen Secondary Schools Cricket League’s InterCol T20 competition. Fatima got a solid all-round contribution from Kaiden Pollard as they defeated Hillview College by seven runs at Fatima Ground, Mucurapo. Batting first, Fatima made 158 for six in their allotted 20 overs, with Pollard top-scoring with 55 off 33 balls. Jean Paul Barrimond got an even 50 off 46, while Dylan Lee Chow added 30 off 32. The total proved just enough to hold off Premiership 1 Hillview, who were dismissed for 151, with Pollard, son of world T20 icon Kieron, grabbing four wickets for 26 runs.
