Scammy took the credit for the world cup win, told the world that the Cameron lead board was not to be credited in any shape or form . Since then we have continued to plunge to new depths

Then the men were champions so too the women and the youth.

It was the kind of alignment that had never been seen previously.

The corner will not immediately turn when the shit show ends .we do however need to have honest reflection and accountabily built into our systems

I agree time for Chris Dehring to be put in the spotlight. He is the CEO the Man in charge of day to day operations and it is time he quits being a passenger and get to work.

Over the past three decades, we have witnessed the once-proud heritage of West Indies cricket dissolve below minnow status in world cricket. This decline has occurred under the governance of Cricket West Indies (CWI), an entity controlled by a board of insular individuals.

CWI's plan seems to be one of supporting insularity, as they dole out games to various islands while maintaining a tight grip on the stakeholders. This insular approach has shaped the trajectory of West Indies cricket over the years.

In the last decade, the vice president's stakeholder entity has been embroiled in various financial improprieties under his watch. Instead of taking responsibility, the leadership has resorted to blaming the employees.

CWI has observed the decline of the West Indies team, even as they managed to secure a few wins against minnows at the World Cup. ​Such was viewed as a success and an improvement. Ironically, some of these once-minnow teams have now surpassed the West Indies in cricketing prowess.

The position for a coach was advertised, and the winner failed to meet the stated requirements. Yet, this individual was given total control as the only selector and coach of all formats, despite lacking the necessary qualifications.

The president, who is involved in an island government, has promised to step down after his tenure, but he remains in power. Under his leadership, there has been no tangible progress in areas like administration, marketing, coaching, finance, sponsorship, or player development.

The "old boys' club," the board of directors, seems to have little understanding of the responsibilities that come with their position. However, they continue to enjoy the perks, even as the entity they govern loses money.

Faced with this disheartening state of affairs, ​many have given up on CWI cricket. It has become increasingly difficult to remain loyal to a once-proud heritage that has now descended into this deplorable debacle, which has effectively shattered the unifying force that kept the various islands and Guyana together for generations.

​This administration has taken us beyond the point of no return.
