I may have missed the rule to not address one issue until others are fixed first. Especially when one issue can be used to deflect from others, especially those where the moral high ground could easily be weaponized to downplay teh other problems. Raising one issue is not implying that others are being ignored. that’s the typical straw man that you so love to throw around. No serious position holds that condemning one bad policy requires silence on others.
The US being racist isn’t new to this administration. I’ve been saying this before Trump v1. The misfits have just found it more convenient to frame it that way now.
The well-learned, higher-thinking folks pon here have already spoken more succinctly on things like Epstein and Iran than I ever could hope to. In the past, when I posted about atrocities in Nigeria, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, China, Haiti, and all those other shiteholes, the response was crickets because, well, no grate merikkkans were affected. The echo chamber only cares about “their” great Merikkka, you see. not even their own diaspora matters as much, and if so only superficially.
Your regular go-to of the straw man is just the result of your unwillingness, along with your echo chamber’s, to confront atrocities that come from the left. More importantly which has always been my main angle, it’s a reflection of your refusal to think for yourself, to break free from the cult’s talking points.
Indeed, I’ll admit, I’m the ultimate purveyor of the echo chamber. Echo chambers work best when there’s only one person in them at a time, echoing only their own voice.
