And that's the stupidity of Franchise cricket. Remember when each winner of a franchise played in the championship of champions? RCB would decide Gayle played for them (bigger bucks contract) instead of the Tallawahs. Lots of franchise is circus fi true.

Spreading the game? They've always had many tiers of associate cricket. Watch JCA not prepare a Yard team for Olympics, just watch.
