The 57th staging of the 2026 TVJ Schools' Challenge Quiz (SCQ) Finals will feature Jamaica College, seeking their first title since 1987, against Westwook High School. Westwook High, appearing in their first final after recovering from severe hurricane damage, is the first all-girls school to reach this stage since the 1969–70 season.

They need to revamp both the high school curriculum and challenge questions. Bible Knowledge? Philosophy or African/Asian (even Greek) mythology. Make kids think instead of just cram.

that is for "Sunday/Saturday school. Friday Jumma for Muslims and Jews and Rasta in their temples whenever. Hopefully, those learning the Bible won't be as misled like you who support Israel at all cost including the despise so many Israelis have for you.

Nail-biting finish. I was hoping for a Westwood win, given my affiliation with the parish of Trelawny and the fact that my aunt was a prominent staff member there some time ago. Westwood acquitted themself well. Congratulations to JC.

would have been nice for the girls but I am happy for all associated with 189 Old Hope Road. Nuff connections with both schools but my sistren’s son and grandsons are like my own kids so it has been a great week.
