@Jumpstart

Tell us the great tits who failed for the last 12 years to have a winning season in red ball cricket and have not win an OD regional in many years.

Don't tell me about winning the 2016 world cup, as no one remembered the tits that played the final game.

With the current test team's batting in the state that it is, he may well be given a chance.

Followed up his 153 & 108* with another century, hitting 105 in his latest knock.

At just turned 23 years of age, he has already recorded his sixth first class hundred - with a healthy average & impressive strike rate.

All good points but after the Louis and Athanaze experiments, my preference is to get these guys who are showing an appetite for big scores into an A team first. The sad thing is that based on what is going on in Jamaica, Bim is not likely to be in the top 3 and so give Wickham the chance to face Seales, Motie and Co.

What up

@PalsofMine

It's not over yet. BIM getting points from this game, so a win in the next could see them winning the "series".

not if it is another run festival pitch. If so, and King plays, it could just be fun to see which bowlers go for more licks. Bim is in a must win position in the last game and cannot afford to just sit back and bat for 2 days. Whoever wins the toss will probably bat first to try to control the pace of that match

He absolutely deserves his opportunity at A team level - I have said numerous times how that is the area hat is arguably the most neglected and needs to be expanded going forward. The step up from regional cricket to test match cricket is just too much for some of the players, batsmen especially in recent times.

The West Indies need to be playing more A team cricket, with guys like Wickham involved.

Agreed. I suggest 2 small fixes if this format is to be continued. Either the top team plays a Best of Rest team comprised of the non qualifiers, Academy or even reserves of Top 3 teams or (my preference), the top 3 teams play a round robin format to determine the champion. This will be only one additional match and will be a much fairer way of determining who deserves to be champ as well as give the better teams 5 games each, same as in the olden days.
