Lovely game of cricket between Barbados and Jamaica, evenly matched with wonderful centuries from John Campbell, Kirk McKenzie and Kevin Wickham.

Well well well... Brilliant stuff. Looks like a lot of these guys are stepping up. Hopefully they can sustain their form through the rest of the tournament.

that was a great match. Loved the self belief. Congrats all around. Tough on Wickham to score an immortal in a losing cause. I think that also happened to Lara in Sri Lanka?

four innings with scores above 300. And don’t forget the Bajan declaration.

Bowling is not up to scratch on either side.

@PalsofMine

was an entertaining match and we saw some really good batting but the bowling was mostly ordinary.

@Chrissy

You are on point about the bowling attacks: Layne, Springer , Mcallister, and Mayers are all decent but are they strike bowlers? Warrican disappointed in a game that should have been set up for him but conceded 60 runs in 13 overs with a solitary wicket. Mcallister has some potential.

Same can be said for Jamaica, Mindley is good, Shields has great potential, but the other bowlers are ordinary. Pitch seemed flat too but next game is at Sabina so let us see if there is more for the bowlers.

The match was so evenly poised that up to tea time today, no one would have guessed a Jamaican victory, with all the quality Bajan bowlers.
